AIRWORTHINESS

For 15 years Creasys has been providing specialist services to support the entire Airworthiness Process with the support of experienced and qualified personnel both in the aircraft design disciplines and in the analysis and standardization of processes.
The consultancy offered in the international military sphere, integrates the technical expertise with the sector’s Strategy Management.
To plan and manage an airworthiness strategy over time, it is necessary to define and monitor the approach envisaged for the demonstration and support of airworthiness, understood both as Initial Airworthiness (release of the Type Certificate and related Type Certificate Data Sheet) and Continued Airworthiness (modifications and maintenance of the airworthiness of the design).
The homogenization and standardization of airworthiness regulations and processes at European level entails the possibility, through a Mutual Recognition process, of recognition of the activities carried out by the various MAAs, which can thus recognize the work done (in the certification area) from others and allow industries to offer the same product to different countries without the need to support costly supplementary testing activities each time to meet specific national requirements.

The Airworthiness services offered by Creasys are compliant:
  • To the National Technical Regulations, issued by the DAAA [AER (EP).P-21, AER (EP) .P-2, AER (EP) .P-7, etc.].
  • To European EMARs in accordance with the quality process defined by the detailed requirements in the standards (AER-Q-2120 and AQAP-2120).
CAPABILITIES
1. STRATEGY DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT
2. INITIAL AND CONTINUED AIRWORTHINESS
3. DATA INFORMATIZATION AND DIGITIZATION
4. STANDARDIZATION OF PROCESSES
5.PERFORMANCE MONITORING OF SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS AND CERTIFICATION TEAMS
6. TRAINING (Strategy Management, Airworthiness Process, Procedures, and Regulatory Compliance)

The consultancy for the entire airworthiness process is integrated with the specialized Cost Management services in order to fully support the DAAA, also in the assessments relating, for example, to:
  • benchmarking,
  • cost-benefit analysis relating to: design changes, new designs of an aerial system, etc.,
  • requirements and actual history of maintenance programs,
  • costs and downtime to restore an aircraft to service.
ADVANTAGES OF OUR CONSULTING
  • Definition and management of integrated airworthiness strategies.
  • Guarantee, for Type Design, of compliance with the highest airworthiness standards.
  • Standardization and monitoring of airworthiness processes during Initial and Continued Airworthiness.
  • Facilitation and speeding up of airworthiness processes considering, among the objectives to be achieved, the reduction of costs and saving man power.
  • Facilitating the exchange of data with aeronautical design companies and military airworthiness authorities (MAAs) for both Initial and Continued Airworthiness.
